In general, these groups can be less than helpful and downright hostile to the cause of conquering autism.  Those of us who have experience effectively treating the causes of autism in our children have a responsibility to introduce this subject to parents of newly diagnosed children who have not been told there are ways to win the fight.

We also have a responsibility to work to change the system.  The policy goals below represent our view as to which systems must change and how that change can benefit our children.

Autism and ASD specialty programs in our public schools
